The high-intensity spotting scope of the EDX 82 CS series with angled view has a lens diameter of 82 mm and is available with 2 different eyepieces. The two interchangeable eyepieces each have a flexible magnification of 20-60x or 25-50x. They differ essentially in their wide fields of view. Both variants can be classified as wide-angle spotting scopes (35-21 m or 42-27 m), which significantly simplify object detection.

The interchangeable eyepieces are attached to the spotting scope body with a bayonet lock. The bayonet lock is compatible with the eyepieces from the world's leading optics manufacturers. The stable housing of the EDX 82 CS is compact with a length of 330 mm and covered with a strong and non-slip rubber armor. This ensures grip and a secure hold. By using the light and stable material magnesium, the weight of the spotting scope is only 1,350 g (without eyepiece). The EDX 82 CS spotting scope is filled with nitrogen and is therefore guaranteed to be waterproof. A special, dirt-repellent coating ensures that the drops of water roll off.
