tacA reticle
The tacA is exceptionally easy to use. The arrow-shaped, tapering posts are deliberately transparent so that nothing behind the reticle is hidden.
Continuously adjustable illuminated dot
The tacA illumination unit is a finely balanced system with a wide dynamic range, producing an extremely small illuminated dot. Automatic switch-off with intelligent control is also available as an option for this rifle scope.

Precise internal Zerostop
After removing the reticle adjustment turret caps, loosen 3 grub screws to lift the turret off. Underneath is the Zerostop, a round black disc. After sighting in, set the Zerostop by loosening the 3 grub screws on the disc. When loose, the disc can be turned freely to its stop without affecting the adjustment, then secured again with the grub screws. The stop can be seen in the image between the disc and the scope. Refit the turret in the zero position and secure it with the 3 grub screws. The Zerostop now stops precisely at the setting for your sight-in distance.
Precision with 10x zoom
The DDMP 4-40x50 is DDoptics' first V10 rifle scope and offers a particularly versatile range of applications. This advanced 4-40x50 DDMP scope is especially suited to sport shooting from 100 m-1000 m. Its huge 329 MOA adjustment range enables distances of up to 2000 m and beyond, although magnification must be limited to 20x at the extremes of reticle adjustment for technical reasons. At 100 m-1000 m, however, 40x magnification can be used. The entire adjustment range is covered in just 3 turns, allowing very rapid changes between distances.
Absolute precision at medium range
Whether for long-range sport shooting or medium distances between 100 m and 1000 m, the advanced 4-40x50 DDMP rifle scope covers a wide range of applications. Limitation: at long distances beyond 1000 m, the reticle adjustment must be moved to its extreme outer range. In this peripheral region of the optics, the scope's resolution is insufficient for 40x magnification for technical reasons. Magnification must therefore be reduced to 20x. At all distances practicable for sport shooting in Europe where the reticle remains closer to the centre of the field of view, image resolution supports magnification up to 40x.
