The EDX binoculars 10x30 - handy and functional
The handle on the bridge allows users to comfortably hold the EDX 10x30 binoculars with one hand, even in winter with gloves. Materials such as magnesium, aluminum and polycarbonate not only ensure the greatest possible robustness, but also a very low weight with a total length of 120 mm at just 466 g. The slim case is covered with a non-slip rubber armor. This consists of natural rubber and thus not only guarantees durability, but also significantly higher grip and slip resistance. The indestructible metal alloy of the eyecups protects the eyepieces optimally, it is also waterproof and non-fogging. With just 1.5 turns, the entire focus range is set precisely and even the smallest details can be captured quickly. The diopter compensation for spectacle wearers is located on the right eyepiece and can be set after adjustment.

The EDX 10x30 binoculars perform valuable services both on longer stalks in the woods and fields, in the mountains, over long distances and on morning or evening hides. Spectacle wearers can easily adjust the eyepieces in four grid positions so that a perfect interpupillary distance is achieved and a loss of the field of view is avoided. The grid positions can be firmly fixed. Unintentional adjustment is impossible due to the clearly defined mechanics.
Top optics for brilliant image display and sharp resolution
While the EDX 10x30 is based on the well-established roof prism system (Schmidt-Pechan), the types of glass used for these binoculars have been completely newly developed. This innovative ED glass (Extra Low Dispersion) reduces color fringes even more than is the case with most of the ED glasses used to date. The user has the advantage with perfectly coordinated and brilliant colors. The phase correction layer PHC 140, newly developed for the EDX 10x30, prevents 99% of all unwanted wave-optical effects and thus prevents even the smallest blur.
Innovative coating guarantees razor-sharp contours
With the EDX 10x30, the optical image is reproduced in maximum detail and without edge blur according to the current state of the art. This is guaranteed by the special DDlucid coating, with which the two roof surfaces of the Schmidt-Pechan roof prism are additionally provided. This coating, which originated in the Japanese photo industry, is a further development of the well-known and tried and tested ELR (Extra Low Reflection) coating. DDlucid is one of the most effective binocular compensation. Currently, only premium binoculars have such a similarly sophisticated coating.
