The Nighteagle ERGO DX binocular series, a further development of the Nighteagle 8x56 binoculars by DDoptics, convinces with a lot of performance and a moderate price.

The compact twilight and hide glass
The optical concept of the Nighteagle ERGO DX binoculars combines the lowest possible weight with the advantages of good night and hide binoculars for hunts. Thanks to the Schmidt-Pechan prism system, the binoculars are relatively short and relatively light in weight (165x145x66 mm / 995 g). The binoculars thus appeal to a target group that does not want to be limited to the evening hide.

Bright optics
CT glass (clear transmission) with complex DDlucid coating and high-quality Schmidt-Pechan prisms made of barium crown glass make observing with the Nighteagle ERGO DX a pure viewing pleasure. The sharpness of the image extends to the edge of the 117 m wide field of view (10x56 = 105 m). A vapor-deposited dielectric mirror reduces the transmission losses in the prisms by almost 99 percent. 56mm ED lenses ensure a fringing-free and bright image. The total light transmission measured in the laboratory is over 90 percent. Equipped with these optical performance features, the binoculars from the Nighteagle ERGO DX series are ideal for use under the moon and in adverse light conditions.

Convenient operation
Finger and thumb recesses as well as ribbing on the side parts offer a secure and comfortable grip. In addition, a special reinforcement prevents slipping or slipping out of your hand, even in the rain. The focusing wheel at the front end of the closed bridge is easy to grip and allows the focus point to be set precisely. The diopter adjustment (+- 3) is easily accessible on the right eyepiece.

Robust and waterproof
The housing is made of unbreakable magnesium, so the binoculars survive a fall from the hide ladder onto the forest floor unscathed. The rotating eyecups are not made of plastic either, but of rubber-reinforced metal. Even heavy rain cannot harm the IP 68-certified binoculars from the Nighteagle ERGO DX series and they were tested for leaks in 1.5 m of water for an hour.

High-quality binocular bag with an intelligent carrying system
The recommended retail price for the 8x56 version of the Nighteagle ERGO DX binoculars is EUR 450 (10x56 = EUR 457). In addition to a binocular carrying strap made by Niggeloh Germany, this also includes rubber protective caps for the eyepiece and lens as well as a microfibre cleaning cloth. A special highlight is the specially developed binocular bag. This can be equipped with different belt systems. It can be quickly converted from a simple shoulder bag to a harness chest bag with an integrated binocular strap. This allows free hands in the field and when hunting.
